The amendment failed 67-31, as you probably know. Obama voted for the amendment, but Hillary didn’t bother voting at all.
I kind of regret voting for McCaskill now, though I suppose the other option was Talent(less).
This is coming from the same Chris who loathes the single issue voters?
It’s a tounge-in-cheek statement. Running McCaskill in MO was the right thing to do, and I don’t regret that vote. She’s certainly better than Jim Talent would have been. I do, however, look forward to the day when I can vote her out in favor of someone more progressive. Someone who, you know, respects the constitutional prohibitions against illegal search and seizure.
